Chapter 4: To This Day

Umbra had risen to Deamonhod, but what of the other Scouts. Aries the heroic space marine now turned into Dreadnought had been the leader of the Armored Company but now the demonic influense was making him unstable and it was not long that Umbra had to switch the command from Aries who had berserk like seizures. Spatha the orginal 2^nd in command lead the 1^st company of the Green Shadows and was gifted a Deamonic Sword from Umbra. It was a sword with Umbras own essence inside it. Thus making a kind of symbios between the two. Ignis had risen to being both the Master of the Forge and the Head Librarian of the chapter. After the downfall he was learning more of the sorcery of chaos his mind twisting by the warp. He always kept his distance from the chaos gods themselves maybe fearing them himself, but then he fell badly ill his breathing becoming harder and harder within just few weeks. The brilliant smith and psyker made stronger and stronger machines to aid him in breathing but after just few years he was reaching nearer and nearer to death. On his shameful moments he called upon the Chaos Gods pledging his loyalty if they only helped him overcome his sickness. Grandfather Nurgle had been waiting for this and with warp infusing with the sorceror he was twisted inside his armor made to serve Nurgle for the rest of his demonic days. Nurgle bestowed him with a familiar. Nurgling known as Raqz. Bringing the dreaded Nurgle's Rot with himself. He was sent to keep an eye out on Ignis and make sure he did serve the great Nurgle. Ignis still leads the Forge Company and searchs for ways to improve anything they have. Culter became the infamous leader of 2^nd Company of the Green Shadows. He leads this bloodhungry assault company with speed of the dark gods behind him. He also was the vessel of alliance between Iron Warriors and Green Shadows. He was taken to dark halls of Iron Warriors fortress and he was given the Gene-Seed of the Iron Warrior Primarch Perturabo along the orginal Gene-Seed of Vulcan the Primarch of Salamanders. Ignis forged two power swords for Culter named after the two primarchs whose Gene-Seeds where fitted inside the marine. There was also 3^rd Company but it was lead by the power hungry Porto who after Umbras rise to Deamonhood left the Green Shadows taking his whole Company with him to the Eye of Terror and to this day no one has seen even a shadow of the man or the rest of the Company. Armored Company lead was given to old marine of the Green Shadows who had been mutated and corrupted by chaos by binding himself into a Defiler. He gained the name Cancer and he now leads the tanks of Green Shadows with an Iron Claw, literally. Still the Renegade Chapter has almost 300 members. 200 members compose the 1^st and 2^nd company. Armored Company is around 70 Marines and Forge Company composing of about 30 marines all who are psykers and smithes of different calliber.


Eli tämmöinen pieni fluffi läjä tässä neljän päivän aikana. Toivottavasti edes jotakuta kiinnosti lueskella ja kyllä tiedän että siellä on varmaan lukemattomia kirjoitus virheitä, tyhmiä lausemuotoja ja ylipäätään huonoa tarinan kerrontaa, mutta kuitenkin tärkeintä olisi että tuosta saa yleisidean Chapterin menneisyydestä ja sen pääjäsenistä. Huomenna tiedossa päivitystä Deamon Prinssin kunnosta ja mahdollisesti jotain turinoita tämän päivän otteluista. Riippuen kuinka paljon alkoholipitoisia juomia tulee nautittua.

Green Shadows, Chapter 3: Downfall

Chapter 3: Downfall

Umbras main reason for going so far from Terra was to be able to work on technology on their own without Adeptus Mechanicus looking over their shoulder all the time. When Abaddon launched his first Black Crusade Green Shadows were one of the first Space Marine Chapters to be on their way. But they were first contacted by the Iron Warriors Legion promising worldly things for Green Shadows to align them with Abaddon and the Chaos Gods. Umbra knew of Iron Warriors technological advance and he lead his soldiers against the imperium they had served for hundreds of years. Green Shadows lead their advanced fleet to near-by systems with Imperial Guard feeling secure as the traitor legions got closer but at least they had their own marines to protect them. When Umbra unleashed his attack on the unsuspecting Imperial Guard down on the planets the soldiers were without leaders as the space marine strike forces had first attacked the leaders of the army. It was withing one month that Green Shadows had a whole solar system all but massacred to the last man and child. Gaining control of the solar system got the attention of other space marines. Salamanders were the first to act against their now fallen brothers. Salamanders lead out a campaign against Umbra's Green Shadows the battle didn't rage for long as Umbra knew himself to be overnumbered and they soon fled from the solarsystem to aid Abaddon, but the first Black Crusade was over and the Chaos forces were on retreat. The Green Shadow fleet followed the Iron Warriors to the Deamon World of Medrengrad. The Fleet orbited the planet. The first sign of Green Shadows pact to the Chaos Gods was Umbras accent to Deamonhood as a new Deamon Prince. He warped the captains quarters in the fleets flagship Umbra Triremis into his own domain where he stays for most of the time only leaving to assault the enemies of the chapter in a bloodlust driven by the Chaos Gods themselves.

Green Shadows, Chapter 2: Horus Heresy

 Chapter 2: Horus Heresy

When it was noted that Horus had started a rebel against the Emperor Salamanders were one of the seven legions to be sent to confront the fallen Primarch. Umbra's Squad wasn't taken to Istvaan as they were on a misson on a distant planet. As such they survived the Istavaan V massacre only to be coming back to their home planet to meet with most of the legion destroyed. Umbra actully was ready to go to aid the Emperor in Terra, but Vulcan couldn't leave with his Legion at that size. The war mostly ended in Terra with Horus dead and Emperor taken to the Golden Throne. Then it was desided to brake the legions into smaller Chapters. Umbra saw his moment there and made it sure that he would start a new Chapter apart from Salamanders. Umbra toke roughly 400 marines from Salamanders to form Green Shadows Chapter and they moved to a world on the far reaches of Imperial Space. It was only marginally populated and soon it had a fortress of Green Shadows up.

Green Shadows, Chapter 1: Origins

Elikkä päivittelen tässä seuraavat muutama päivää Green Shadoweihin liittyvää fluffia jonka olen kirjoitellut. Ei mitään maailmaa mullistavaa, mutta toivottavasti avartaa vähän väen näkemyksiä koko joukkueesta. Teksti on englanniksi, koska minulla on tapana kirjoitella asioita englanniksi jostain syystä enkä niitä sen jälkeen halua suomeksi kääntää. Mutta sen pitemmittä puheitta itse asiaan:




Chapter 1: Origins

Green Shadows history goes back thousands of year all the way before Horus Heresy during the Great Crusade. A Young promising Space Marine scout squad lead by a man who would become Viridis Umbra the leader of Green Shadows. His squad had many of the most infamous of Green Shadow members in it. Young recruit who was manifesting his psycic powers who later came to be known as Ignis, the melee specialist who used normal combat daggers in pairs killing enemies fast and silently he later got name Culter. The 2^nd in command of the squad was all around good soldier and talented commander with quick tactic sight on changing strategy in the flight, he later gained the name Spatha. The teams heavy specialist always carried a heavy bolter with him anywhere they went after many happenings he was known as Aries. There was also others but they are long forgotten in the stream of time. They gained fame in the ranks of the Salamander Legion for doing great commando missions before the legion got to the world. It wasn't long before they were given the rank of fully fledged Space Marines wearing their green armors with pride.

They still worked as a commando squad and only one little better known situation is known to happen to that space marine squad. It was on one world that had been over run by Orks. The squad was sent there to hold the Orks at bay for the few surviving soldiers to fortify a starport for the rest of the legion to come and purge the Orks. First the commando tactics had been working well but it was only time before the Orks caught their scent. They were walling back getting to cover from Ork shooting in some trenches made by Imperial Guard. The Orks started an assault from the woods at the few space marines the five where only ones left others had died in the woods to Ork assaults. Umbra was thinking of ways to counter the Orks but Aries did the choise for him. He jumped up from the trench opening fire from his Heavy Bolter at the Orks walking forward. His squad mates yelled after him but they knew they had to use this opportunity. They started to fortify the trenches with what ever at hand. Aries ran out of bullets throwing the Heavy Bolter at an charging Ork squishing it beneth the weight of the gun. Aries just rammed at the Choppa Waveing Orks. It didn't take too long for the Orks to over run the lone space marine, but it had given enough time to fortify the trenches a little and the four remaining marines opened fire at the Orks. Even with the fortifications the Orks assaulted the trench but marines were able to battle them back and then an explosion signaled the arrival of the rest of Vulcans soldiers. The Orks were driven back and some space marines secured the area. Umbra's Squad rushed to Aries who was mangled beyond recognition. Umbra personally explained Aries bravery and asked for him to be made into a dreadnought if possible. Salamander didn't want to lose a promising soldier and so he was made into a dreadnought.

Elikkä tuli tuossa saatua eilen valmiiksi uudemman 500 pisteen listan loordi josta kuvia löytyy alta, mutta ennen sitä voisin hieman kertoa siitä. Elikkä kyseessä on kahta Power Swordia heiluttava Culter niminen mariini komentaja joka johtaa toista Green Shadowien kompaniaa. Peliteknillisesti hänet on aseistettu Bolt Pistoolilla, Power Weaponilla ja Melta Bombeilla. Hän on myös erikoinen tapaus siinä mielessä että hän on alkujaan Salamanteri ja omaa siis Vulcanin geeni perimän, mutta Green Shadowien langettua häneen lisättiin yhdistyksen merkiksi myös Perturabon geeni perimä, elikkä hänellä on sen takia Iron Warrior puoleista vaikutusta. Ignis, Green Shadowien seppä mestari ja Umbraa lukuun ottamatta vahvin psyykikko armeijassa, takoi hänelle kaksi voima miekkaa, jotka nimettiin kahden Primarkin nimien mukaan kuvastaen Culterin pohjaa molemmista primarkeista. Toinen miekoista on vanhanmallinen selkärepusta voimansa hankkiva, johon Culter vuosien aikana tottui käytettyään sellaista oikeassa kädessään tosin vasemmassa kädessä oleva Vulcan-miekka on taasen nykyisempi itse sähkövarauksen tekevä, koska Culter taisteli aikoinaan enemmän Power Swordin ja perinteisen miekan tai veitsen kanssa joten hän on tottunut tekemään ketterämpiä liikkeitä vasemmalla kädellään.

No niin nyt kun kaikki ovat nukahtaneet minun fluffi kerrontaan voin esitellä kauhean figun kuvat ilman että ketään pääsee niihin asti, elikkä Culter:

Satunnaisia pölinöitä ja yksi lisä Armeijalista

Eipä tässä oikeastaan mitään erityisen erikoista kerrottavaa tänään. Tosin tarkoitus olisi taas ryhdistäytyä ja aloittaa kahden päivän teho maalaus ja figutus, jossa uusittu 500 pisteen armeija pitäisi saada maaleihin ja siitä jatkaa sitten 750 pisteen hommaan, joka lisää 500 pisteen armeijaan ryhmällisen Kaaoksen Havockeja jossa on neljä Heavy Bolterin käyttäjää ja täydentäen vajaata normaali mariini ryhmää. Jos vaikka saisi sen 500 pistettä tässä täyteen niin voisin niistä napsasta vaikka jokusen kuvan ja sitten esitellä niitä täällä taas.

Sitten tälläisenä pienenä ideointi tuloksena olen päätynyt jälleen yhteen lisä 1000 pisteen listaan, joka tuntuu itselle kaikkeista hauskimmalta pyöräyttää pelikentälle. Tälläinen siitä tuli:

Elikkä mitäs tuosta voisi puhuskella. Noh kaksi suhteellisen perus ryhmää 10 hengeä kaksi special weaponia ja aspiring champion Power Fistillä. Toisessa ryhmässä Plasma Gunit suojatuliaseina näiden pitäessä koti objektiivia tai jotain lähellä olevaa objektiivia hallussa, toinen taas hyppää Rhinon kyytiin ja huristelee vihollisen kimpuun siinä. Tämän lisäksi Demoni Prinssi liihottelee suojasta toiseen yrittäen hyökätä juuri sinne missä vihollinen sitä vähiten haluaa ja sitten Sorkun johtama pyörä jengi kiitää eteenpäin yrittäen tuhota vihollisen ryhmiä nopeasti ja mahdollisesti siinä matkalla räjäyttää tankin taikka kaksi Melta Guneillaan.

Isoin syy miksi tämä iskoistuu on että tykkään Bikereista vaikka kalliita ovatkin ja se että olen kehittänyt hienoja ideoita miten konvertoida tuo Sorceror. Tällä hetkellä olen sillä fiiliksellä että itse sorceror tulee olemaan nousseena pyöränsä päälle seisomaan Vasara toisessa kädessä (vasarasta lisää alempana) ja toinen käsi ojennettuna eteen tämän loihtiessa Doombolt loitsua, sitten kun joku miettii miten pyörä liikkuu eteenpäin he huomaavat kaasutin kahvaa vääntävän Nurgling-familiarin, joka avustaa mestariaan pyörän liikuttamisessa vapauttaen tämän kädet muuhun.

Ja tosiaan miksi Vasara Sorcerorille? Noh kyse on siitä että tässä pyörän päällä on Green Shadowien 2nd in command ja Forge Companyn johtaja Ignis. Hän oli ennen kaaokseen kääntymistä psyykikko jo valmiiksi, mutta silti hän piti hallussaan Master of the Forge titteliä ja joukon kehitellessä oma toimisesti teknologiaa Ignis oli se joka oli siitä pääasiassa vastuussa. Lankeamisen jälkeen Ignis kehitti psyykkisiä taitojaan ja takoi toisen komppanian johtajalle Culterille tämän miekat, jotka oli nimetty Iron Warrioreiden ja Salamanterien Primarkkien mukaan (nämä kaksi koska heidän Geen-Seed löytyy Culterista). Ignis myöhemmin sairastui uskottavammin Nurglen itsensä toimesta pahasti joutuen kehittämään itselleen aina vain kehittyneempiä hengityslaitteita ja lopulta heikkona hetkenään Ignis haki turvaa Isä Nurglelta johon vastattiin. Nurgling Ragq annettiin tämän apulaiseksi ja samalla vahtiaksi ja näin Igniksestä tuli langenneen space marine chapterin toinen suoraan demoneihin liitonnainen jäsen chapterin johtajan Umbran jälkeen.

Noh tulipas tästäkin yllättävän paljon tekstiä. Igniksestä figuna voisi mainita että hänelle tulee ainakin jonkinlainen suusuoja, joka on osa hänen hengityslaitteistoaan ja tottakai konvauksessa Nurglen palvonta tullaan tekemään selväksi.
